violencia organizada y delincuencia trasnacional en ecuador: enfoque histórico y actual

The manuscript presents an approach to the problem of organized violence and transnational crime in ecuador from a perspective that dialogues between a historical approach and a structural one, to deepen into the post-pandemic situation, when actions were triggered that did not only affect the security of the south american country, but also the whole region. given the complexity and multidimensionality of this problem, the paper relies on different fields such as geopolitics, security, sociology, etc., along with qualitative and quantitative information, to present a theoretical and empirical effort that examines the problem, focusing on the wealth-power dynamics, which allows to go beyond any limitation on the field of interstate relations.
