Abstract
Microsoft Windows NT provides a full-featured Performance Monitor program that is widely used in industry for performance measurement and capacity planning. While the Windows NT operating system itself supports a large and varied collection of performance objects, the Windows 95 and Windows 98 operating systems support a much smaller and far less useful set of performance objects. This paper demonstrates how to supplement the performance objects collected from Windows 95 and Windows 98 and how to make these performance objects available for remote performance monitoring.
