Abstract
Introduction: Psy-Flex is a relevant measure for clinical practice as it facilitates therapeutic planning and represents a measure of change in intervention sessions; however, it is not adapted to the Peruvian context. Objective: To adapt Psy-Flex in a sample of Peruvian university students. Methodology: An instrumental design was used based on two samples of 273 participants each, aged 18 to 59 years of both sexes. Aiken's “V” coefficient was used for content validity, confirmatory factor analysis to estimate evidence of validity based on internal structure, and α and ω coefficients for internal consistency reliability. Results: Optimal absolute (RMSEA=.000 to.074; SRMR=.014 to.031) and relative (CFI=.977 to 1.000; TLI=.962 to 1.005) fit indices and acceptable reliability indices were identified for the unidimensional model (ω=.841; ω=.849) and two-dimensional model: dimension 1 (ω=.864; ω=.767) and dimension 2 (ω=.711; ω=.645). Conclusion: The adaptation of Psy-Flex to the population of university students in Metropolitan Lima presents adequate sources of evidence of validity and reliability that allow the use of the unidimensional and two-dimensional model composed of Mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Process and Behavior Change Processes.
