Mapping the dynamics and impact of research

Universities are often called upon to show the economic impact of their university programs. In a PhD project at UCL’s Impact Policy Unit at the Department of Science, Technology Engineering and Public Policy (STEaPP), the ICSR team and student Basil Mahfouz are working to map the dynamics and impact of research by developing new tools to map the total impacts of research and compare how its use and spread varies between different fields of research.
