Academic recruitment relies too heavily on publications and does not necessarily facilitate diversity. To support the need to follow best practice around inclusion & diversity, the ICSR research team is working with the Queensland University of Technology to develop an array of indicators to facilitate fair and unbiased recruitment, promotion and rewards that go far beyond traditional indicators to reflect the myriad roles of the modern researcher.
