Project Details
Description
As a part of the September, 2020 Conference and Labs of the Evaluation Forum (CLEF 2020), we invite you to build a team, hone your data mining skills, and join us in the ChEMU lab which focuses on information extraction over chemical patents
Key findings
Task 1: Named Entity Recognition (NER) involves identifying chemical compounds as well as their types in context, i.e., to assign the label of a chemical compound according to the role which the compound plays within a chemical reaction.
Task 2: Event extraction (EE) involves event trigger detection and argument recognition.
